Alex Shabo

 

Alex's fitness journey began with years of soccer and distance running. She competed at a high school and collegiate level as arunner, but soon got caught in the injury cycle. It wasn't until the addition of strength that she found her running not only became sustainable, but also faster, stronger and more competitive. Alex has been coaching group fitness for over 12 years. Between treadmill, barbell, endurance and functional training - she has an extensive background to share with a larger community.

Alex found Elevate through the Athletes - the ones that were pushing, not only in the fitness room, but in races all-around. Elevate has helped her PR multiple times in her first Hyrox season, including her first podium finish, and helped foster her newfound love of fitness racing, something she wants to share with the Elevate family. The variety of offerings, community, and workout structure keep her coming back day after day. Alex is certified through ACE and loves taking the components (and perks!) of personal training to a group level.
